What determines the lash refill interval?

The need for a lash refill is individual and depends on many factors, such as the natural lash growth cycle, makeup products used, sleeping habits, and the type of extension. A general recommendation for a refill interval is about 3-4 weeks to keep the lashes consistently beautiful and full.

Sometimes, however, lashes may fall out faster due to strong makeup removers or heavy sweating, for example. Conversely, for others, lashes might stay perfect for up to five weeks. Therefore, it is important to assess the refill need not just based on weeks, but by looking at how the lashes actually appear in the mirror.

Refill or New Lashes?

Regular Maintenance

When you visited 3-4 weeks ago and more than a third of your own eyelash extensions are still intact, a normal lash refill is the right choice. It is faster and more affordable than getting a completely new set of lashes. Read more about refills →

When is it time for new lashes?

If it has been 5-6 weeks since your last refill and only a few individual extensions are left, it is often wiser to gently remove the remaining lashes and build a completely new, clean set from scratch. This ensures the result will be even and beautiful again. Learn more →

Frequently Asked Questions about Lash Refills

How does the lash refill calculator work?

The calculator asks you five questions about the current state of your lashes and your last visit, based on which it suggests the most suitable next step.

How do I know if a refill is enough or if I need a new set?

Usually, a refill is enough if it has been 2-4 weeks since your last visit and at least a third of your lashes are remaining. If your lashes have almost entirely fallen off, a new set is needed.

Can I book an appointment even if I am not entirely sure?

Yes, absolutely. You can book a normal refill and leave a comment with your booking, so our experts can check the situation with you before starting the treatment.
